An upgrade to HGLTech’s 75mm version, this quad is packed full of top of the line specs. 25A ESC, 200mw VTX, OSD and more, it’s everything you need in a micro! Get it here
It’s a bit more expensive than other quads this size, but you really get what you pay for. A beefy 3S battery comes in the box, and the 25A ESC allows for the upgrade to 4S. Something rarely (if ever) seen on quads this size.
Here are the specs: Wheelbase: 80mm Weight: 72g (no battery) Motor: FLAME 1104 7500KV brushless motor ESC: XR396-25A BLHELI 2-4S 4 in 1 ESC Propeller: 50mm 5 blade Camera: 600TVL HD CMOS 1/4 inch VTX: 5.8g 0/25/50/200MW 40CH NTSC/PAL video transmitter FC: HGLRC PBF3-EVO Betaflight F3 Battery: HGLRC 11.1V 550mah 35C lipo battery
This thing flies ok out the box, but needs some PID tweaking. I also had to re-flash my FC, so if you do make sure your flashing PIKOBLX. I also had to re-assign my motors in BF’s CLI, and change motor direction in BL Suite.
The quad is a total beast with the 25A ESC, and the 200mw VTX allows for some serious range, much better than the likes of the Aurora. While the frame isn’t totally new, it does have some good touches like connecting the two circular pieces on top for extra support.
You can see how it flies in my video, and also see what happened when it crashed! (Spoiler – The prop guards completely broke). This is really the best micro I’ve ever flown, and I can’t hype it enough. Hopefully more designers will follow this high power-small size design.
